How Does Reflexology Help?

Reflexology improves overall circulation which aids in elimination of waste products and fluids. This allows the body to begin the detoxification process and increases oxygen to all the major organs and body tissue. Reflexology brings about a state of deep relaxation, stimulating the body's own natural healing process and returning it to a state of balance and well being. It is quickly becoming one of the most popular forms of complementary medicine.

What Can I Expect?

As the reflex areas of your feet, hands or ears are stimulated you may from time to time experience pin-prick-like sensations. These sensations result from sensitivity that frequently reflects the presence of tension in the corresponding part of the body. If it is not comfortable for you, please speak up and ask to decrease the amount of pressure being used. Your comfort is our top priority.

Is Reflexology Safe?

Absolutely!

As stated before, Reflexology is a completely safe, non-invasive natural therapy with absolutely no health risks and virtually every individual can benefit from a session - from the very young to the elderly.

Reflexology can do only good. In fact it can be extremely helpful in relaxing the individual and helping them to cope with the emotional side of their illness.

One note that needs to be made is that Reflexology is not intended to diagnose or prescribe, nor is it meant to replace conventional medical treatments.

What Should I Wear?

Although only the shoes and socks are removed during a treatment it is advisable to wear loose, comfortable clothing as you will be lying in a reclined position for at least an hour.

How Much Will it Cost?

A Reflexology Session is one hour long and costs $55.00

Every Reflexology Treatment Session includes:

  • a combination of relaxation techniques
  • Reflexology point treatment work
  • mini- Reiki Healing Session
